My name is Lakecia Harris and I am a wife, mom, and busy professional woman. As a certified personal and executive Christian coach, I serve women who are longing to experience the best in their lives personally and professionally. The women I coach believe that God has called them to serve at home, in the workplace, and the community. I knew from an early age that I wanted to have a successful career and quickly grasped hold to the concept that if I wanted to be achieve marked success then I would need to continue learning and developing my skills so that I could excel in my profession and also be compensated for my talents and abilities.

In addition to being a personal and executive coach, I have worked in higher education for the past fifteen years. Also, I am the founder of the “Purposeful Professionals Community”. This community was created as I looked back over my life and reflected on times when I needed to connect with women who understood the struggles I was having related to workplace issues that were also affecting my ability to be effective and efficient in my personal life. I needed a coach, a mentor, a friend, and someone to affirm with me that I would be a s wiser woman and leader because of those challenging experiences. I’m qualified to lead this community due to the following:

• Obtained two degrees in the field of education
• Certified Rescue Institute Mastermind Coach
• Certified Life Purpose Coach
• Graduate of two leadership academies
• Served on national boards and committees within my profession
• Served as a faculty member of a training institute for new professionals

I love to read, learn, and teach. Libraries and bookstores are some of my favorite places to visit. Several years ago I was fortunate to work with a well-known published Christian coach. Through my work with her, my personal story of managing a major life transition was featured in Essence Magazine and Women’s World Weekly Magazine. This time also inspired me to pursue coaching as a profession.

By coaching from a Christian approach I incorporate biblical teaching into my work with clients and program participants honoring our desire to be pleasing to God in all aspect of our lives.

I look forward to getting to know you better and partnering with you.
